Virtual course Management of social and intercultural communication


The collaborative course Management of social and intercultural communication is the core of the CS@Ibero-America project. It is part of the curriculum of four degree programs:  

This objectives of the course are: 

  • To learn about the key components of intercultural communication.
  • Distinguish different types and models of social communication.  
  • To learn about different professions in the field of communication.
  • To learn about the main lines of research in communication, especially in Latin America.

The course is divided into four thematic blocks that combine theoretical and practical sessions in different synchronous and asynchronous formats.


La asignatura colaborativa Gestión de la comunicación social e intercultural constituye el núcleo del proyecto CS@Ibero-America. Forma parte del plan de estudios de tres titulaciones:  

El curso tiene los siguientes objetivos: 

  • Conocer las claves de la comunicación intercultural.
  • Distinguir diferentes tipos y modelos en la comunicación social.  
  • Conocer diferentes profesiones del campo de la comunicación.
  • Conocer las principales líneas de investigación en comunicación, especialmente en América Latina.

El curso se divide en cuatro bloques temáticos que combinan sesiones teóricas y prácticas en distintos formatos sincrónicos y asincrónicas.
